Value System

We at General Beyers Primary strive to create a positive learning environment for all learners at the school. We expect all parents and learners to accept and to live by our value system. Our value system forms the corner stone of our discipline system.

Values are instilled in everything we do; in the classroom, on the sports field and even outside the school grounds.

Each learner must try to achieve all the values in order to become a “General” of the school. To become a “General” the learner must achieve all the criteria for all the values of the school. The values are as follows: I am a General. I am respectful, disciplined, responsible and I act with integrity. Learners are rewarded for making the right choices with stamps in their diaries. When a learner received 30 stamps for a specific value the learner will receive a badge. After a learner earned a badge for each value, he or she will receive a General badge. Generals enjoy certain privileges at school.

In 2021 we will introduce different levels in our value system.
